FAQ

Is it good for my plants?

Yes, because Monstermulch Landscape Rubber Chippings retains virtually no moisture, your plants benefit from receiving far more rainfall than they will with organic mulches such as wood which absorb a great deal of moisture, from rainfall and also from the ground.

Will Landscape Rubber Chippings keep weeds down?

Yes, Dunweedin Landscape Rubber Chippings does not kill weeds, but as it is inert and hydrophobic it dries out very quickly and so any airborne weed seed falling on it is unable to germinate.

Is Landscape Rubber Chippings expensive?

Yes and No, although Dunweedin Landscape Rubber Chippings initially is more expensive than other mulches as it lasts over 10 years, Dunweedin Landscape Rubber Chippings soon proves to be a great saving both in time and money compared against the annual replacement of organic mulches.

How much do I need?

We recommend at least 4cm (1.5”) depth. Check our online coverage guide for your requirements.

What if my child or pet swallows some Landscape Rubber Chippings?

Dunweedin Landscape Rubber Chippings is completely non-toxic and if consumed will pass safely through your childs or pets digestive system.

What is the ‘Lemony’ smell?

We add natural Citronella Oils to the coating which helps discourage cats and dogs from disturbing and soiling your flower beds.

Do I need to put down a weed barrier membrane before applying Monstermulch Landscape Rubber Chippings?
